Louis Vuitton - Fashion Advertising
High Fashion end designers have set almost as many trends in advertising as they have in their clothing. From the moment I flipped the pages open of InStyle magazine, I instantly fell in love with the Louis Vuitton advertisements. Vuitton does a wonderful job capturing the attention of readers by using uniquely beautiful models. Each model that I have ever seen in Vuitton's ads has their own personal look like no other. Louis Vuitton's advertisements are all about feminine sensuability mixed with Hollywood glamour from the 50's. For instance, up above is the highly recognizable actress/model, Scarlet Johansen. With her unique look, she is able to catch your attention and focus in on the product. This aspect forces readers to look more in depth of the advertisement. Every advertisement is breathtaking. Obviously, their is major air-brushing involved but I think this is what catches my attention.
My BRAND
Kayla M. Mosel 716 N. 16th Street – Lincoln, NE 68508 – kaylamosel.gmail.com
My Brand and what it’s ALL about:
My Values:
Growing up, I have found that my values have changed. Values were not always important to me. I believe that taking advice from peers is a great virtue. Over the semester, I have had the opportunity to listen and meet some spectacular people that only want to help students like me in the future. That is something that I will always value. Every piece of advice, I will take with me and grow to be the best I can be.
Some of the things I love:
Small town life is something that is becoming very rare. I love my hometown and what it represents. Driving by it may not look like anything great but it’s the place that I call home. My entire family lives there today. I can’t imagine growing up anywhere else. Although I don’t plan on living in a small town in the future, I will always remember every memory in Plainview, NE.
Some of the things I hate:
I hate rejection even though it is something that I am going to have to get used to in the advertising world. Lately, I have had many interviews that have only ended in refusal. It wasn’t easy hearing that I wasn’t accepted for the job, but I know that giving up is not the answer either. I want to be able take rejection and turn it into something positive.
I am insanely great at:
Listening to what people want and making them happy is definitely a great characteristic of mine. From friends to family to professors to potential new clients, no matter what, it is very important that you listen and understand. I know that everyone needs someone to listen sometimes.
Something I am most proud of:
I am proud that I pushed myself to go to a university college. In high school, I think a lot of friends, family and teachers thought I wouldn’t be able to make it and succeed in a university. Today, I am able to prove them wrong.
I want to be:
I want to be a role model. Ten years from now, I want students to see me as someone that is successful, hard working, and most of all someone that they can relate too.
What is important and valuable to me is:
Balancing school, work, and free time in my life is important to me. It isn’t always easy to find time for everyone and everything. I have definitely valued the friendships that I have made the past couple years, especially in my sorority. But most of all, I value my family. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for everything they have done for me.
I would like to be known for:
Standing up for what I believe is right and a family-oriented person.

My Life...
Standing at the entrance, I see before me a sea of red and black. Behind me are my classmates and more importantly, my friends. I glance around to see everyone’s reactions to what is about to happen. Looking to my left, I see my right hand man, my cousin, and my best friend. We have to stand side by side because our last names are the same. It has been like that since kindergarten graduation when we were paired up. Blake has always been the person to pick me up when I fall. If someone would feel the need to make fun of me, Blake would be the first one to have my back, even if I may have been the one in the wrong. Now we look at one another and can’t believe that twelve years has gone by so fast. This will be the last time we will ever stand side by side because soon we will be taking different paths.
It seemed like just yesterday we were walking through the doors of Plainview Public High School beginning our lives as rebellion high school teenagers. We might have both thought of ourselves as hell raisers but we were always the good kids, sucking up to teachers, never getting into trouble. Suddenly, the sound of music surrounds our thoughts and loud conversations turn into soft whispers that can be heard faintly. Waves of memories flood my thoughts of any worries away. Now there are only happy thoughts and a few tiny butterflies dancing in the pit of my stomach. I glance around again to see if any tears have begun to form in anyone’s eyes but I notice my friend Harrison right away. His abnormally tall height catches my attention from the corner of my eye, but my eyesight starts to get blurry because of the tears forming, making it hard to make out Harrison’s face. Quickly, I grab the Kleenex hidden under my gown sleeve and wipe any visible tears away.
I know once the ceremony is over, our lives will change forever. Blake and I have had our share of good times and fair share of not so good times. From the time I announced to the class during a science lab that we are not blood related…Blake is not my true cousin. To the many times we would laugh and laugh until our stomach hurts to something only we thought was funny. I think this is why we have a unique bond because family and friendship connect us both. Both bonds have roots that go deep into the past and can never be ripped away.
Now we are both in college, living the college dream without any limitations or parents to step in our way of a night of fun. We still talk on the phone at least once a week to stay up on the latest gossip spreading our hometown of Plainview or to brag about getting an ‘A’ on a history exam. There is always a particular incident to tell one another. Blake is the big brother I never had. Even though he is only a few months older than me, I still feel like he is much older, full of wisdom and great advice that you would only expect to hear from someone twice our age.
